Overview

During my internship with Cyranix, I was tasked to redesign the original website in way that would improve on the older template with a new simpler and single page scroll experience while establishing a more unique and original design that would be tied to the company's identity.

Problem

Cyranix’s website was outdated and lacked a clear visual hierarchy, making it difficult for users to navigate and find key information. The goal of this project was to modernize the design, improve readability, and create a clean, professional look that aligns with the brand’s identity.

Included:

  • Cluttered layout with inconsistent typography and spacing.

  • Color scheme did not convey a professional tech feel.

  • Navigation and information hierarchy were unclear, leading to potential confusion for visitors.

Solution

I redesigned the website as a single page, scrollable experience, allowing users to access all key content in one seamless flow. Key design updates included:

  • Layout: Introduced a clear, grid based structure with sections visually separated to guide users naturally through the content.

  • Colors: Updated to a cohesive, professional palette that reflects Cyranix’s tech oriented brand.

  • Typography: Selected clean, modern fonts for readability and a polished look.

  • Navigation: Simplified top of page anchors for smooth scrolling between sections, keeping all content accessible without page reloads.

Early Wireframes

The biggest standout of this project was to present the necessary information while not overwhelming users with information and the way I wanted to go about this was to create original handles that would expand and collapse sections at the request of the user. Designating each section with its own properties and components while delivering key information without much usage was key in order to retain a quick and attentive experience for newer users.

Color

The color palette was built around companies updated brand blue, ensuring consistency with the new logo while reinforcing brand recognition. To complement this, I incorporated a modern tech inspired blue that conveys innovation, trust, and professionalism. Together, these shades create a clean, contemporary aesthetic that reflects the company’s identity and aligns with modern design trends in the tech industry.

Overview

A single scroll design that highlights the company's services in a clear, seamless flow, making it easy for users to explore and interact with the website combining it with improved visuals and components.

Outcome

The redesign focused on creating a simple and seamless experience, allowing users to quickly navigate and interact with the website’s components. This design helps visitors better understand Cyranix and its services while visually upgrading and improving the overall user experience. Most importantly, I learned how to create and incorporate components and creating interactive and appealing buttons that would improve engagement and readbility. Designing one of my first smaller design systems helped me going forward when it came to navigating what makes a successful product and establishing a unique identity.

The timeline for this project was very short being just under 2 weeks, but it helped train me to organize my time and work schedule to be able to produce great work while prioritizing quality and on-time deliverance within a fast paced environment.

Looing Forward

Given more time, I would incorporate user research and usability testing to better understand how visitors interact with the single scroll layout and refine the content flow. Additionally, I would explore adding more detailed information and interactive elements to further enhance the website’s functionality and engagement.
